"Can I run on the treadmill?" - FAQ

"Can I run on the treadmill?"

The Walking Desk treadmill is a "walking" treadmill, it is not designed for running. Counter-intuitively, a treadmill is more powerful than a treadmill. This is because when you run, you are mostly "in the air" between each impact of your feet on the ground (you are in the air for about 50% of the cycle). When you walk, you always have one of your two feet in the air, so the motor has to pull your body along all the time.

Also, to run, you need space to avoid bumping into each other, to avoid losing your balance and to be able to swing your arms.

So if you also want to run it is better to have a treadmill and a treadmill, which are two different devices.

If you have any further questions about the Walking Desk and its use, we have put together
